According to the Amazon website, “Once the balance hits zero, it will reset so you can continue to shop.”

According to posts all around the web, it features a little girl crying out, “And you never run out of money!”

We think Mattel should introduce the “Dang, I Grew Up” Barbie playset, where Barbie spends her entire paycheck on Rent-a-Center furniture while trying to make the minimum payments on her dozen or so 30% interest rate cards. But then again, since this is Barbie, once her credit score hit 300 or so the playset would probably just bump it back up to 800. Responsibility is so for nerds and foster children.

“It looked like a real, live monster,” 4-year-old Grace Whitney said.

The display, complete with a gory head that popped off, was by Wal-Mart’s front door.

Adriana Whitney said she didn’t expect to see something like it while shopping for groceries.

She said it was too much for her three young daughters, the youngest of whom is 20 months old.

“At this age, you cannot explain that this is a toy, that’s not real,” Whitney said.

Whitney said her daughters had nightmares after seeing the decoration and couldn’t sleep in their rooms.

“They had to sleep in my room because they were so scared,” she said.

Wal-Mart moved the display from near the front door to an aisle with other Halloween items after Whitney complained.

A Wal-Mart spokeswoman said the decoration will remain in the Halloween section.

The horn first grew in 2003 and has grown progressively bigger and bigger, taking over the poor woman’s face.
Doctors are baffled by the protrusion - and can only speculate that Xiou Ling is suffering a hormone imbalance.
Her family are currently saving up for treatment to remove it.

Lesbian files lawsuit after being booted from ladies room for manly appearance

A 28-year-old lesbian is filing a gender-discrimination lawsuit after being booted from a New York City restaurant by a bouncer who mistook her for a man in the women’s restroom.

Khadijah Farmer and her girlfriend had stopped by Greenwich Village’s Caliente Cab Company this past June — right after attending a gay pride parade — but trouble started when a female patron complained that a man was using the ladies room. Farmer was then forced to leave.

According to the New York Daily News, the lawsuit was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court and demands that the restaurant “provide sensitivity training for its workers” in addition to seeking “an unspecified amount of money.”

“Now what happened to me inside of Caliente Cab should not happen to anyone anywhere,” Farmer said in an Associated Press video. “New York City has always been and will continue to be an extremely diverse place to live in, and men and women come in all shapes and sizes.”

“I told him I was a woman, and I tried to show him my I.D.,” Farmer told AP about the bouncer who confronted her in the bathroom. “He refused to look at it. I was extremely uncomfortable and quite humiliated.”

Her lawyer, Michael Silverman, who heads the Transgender Legal Defense & Educaton Fund, said he wasn’t satisfied with how the restaurant handled the incident.

“Their response was that Khadijah can have a free meal, which is the equivalent of flipping us the bird,” he said, according to the Daily News.

The restaurant responded to the lawsuit with a statement that “denies wrongdoing and accuses Farmer of being out for money.”

“Farmer,” the statement continues, “is not interested at all in getting at the truth here,” and is “threatening continuous weekly protests of our business rather than expose the facts to the light of day in an appropriate forum.”

“I don’t go out of my way to put on pearls and pink dresses,” Farmer said, adding “however, I shouldn’t have to.”

OCTOBER 8–An Alabama minister who died in June of “accidental mechanical asphyxia” was found hog-tied and wearing two complete wet suits, including a face mask, diving gloves and slippers, rubberized underwear, and a head mask, according to an autopsy report. Investigators determined that Rev. Gary Aldridge’s death was not caused by foul play and that the 51-year-old pastor of Montgomery’s Thorington Road Baptist Church was alone in his home at the time he died (while apparently in the midst of some autoerotic undertaking). While the Montgomery Advertiser, which first obtained the autopsy records, reported on Aldridge’s two wet suits, the family newspaper chose not to mention what police discovered inside the minister’s rubber briefs. Aldridge served as the church’s pastor for 16 years. Immediately following his death, church officials issued a press release asking community members to “please refrain from speculation” about what led to Aldridge’s demise, adding that, “we will begin the healing process under the strong arm of our Savior, Jesus Christ.”

An Elba woman has been arrested on charges of Making Terrorist Threats after she allegedly threatened to use explode a bomb at the Coffee County Jail

Sheriff Dave Sutton said Williams and Sonya Barnes, both 54, were arrested
Saturday night on Domestic Violence charges. Mrs. Barnes, according to Sutton, posted bail and was released while her husband remained in jail.

However, the woman is accused of later calling jail personnel and telling them “If I can’t bond him out I’ll bomb him out (of jail),” in regard to her husband. A warrant for Mrs. Williams arrest was issued and she was taken back to the Coffee County Jail where she is being held without bond. Meanwhile, her husband was later released after posting bail.

It’s been a rough week for PC users who get their hard drives serviced at Best Buy. First, the RIAA trained its legal guns on a young woman who had Best Buy swap out the hard drive in her computer, a move they believed was designed to wipe evidence of P2P infringement. Now, a man in Arkansas has just been sentenced to 135 months in jail and a $10,000 fine after a Best Buy tech found child porn on the man’s hard drive.

Michael Fortino, an “author, speaker, and media personality,” found himself in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on a business trip, and he took his laptop to a local Best Buy for repair. A Geek Squad tech there found child porn pics on the PC and contacted the police, who obtained a search warrant and examined the PC.

The results showed 130 child porn images along with “a commercial video clip of child pornography, and two video clips of minor females changing into swim suits that appeared to have been taken by a hidden video camera,” according the US Attorney’s eventual complaint.

Because Fortino traveled across state lines with his laptop, he was accused of interstate trafficking in child porn and faced federal charges. Fortino pleaded guilty earlier this year, and his sentence was handed down yesterday.

Apart from a decade in jail and the fine, Fortino’s PC and video camera were confiscated “and will be disposed of according to law.”

Artists Built Secret Apartment in Mall

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The leader of an artists’ cooperative has been sentenced to probation for setting up a secret apartment inside a shopping mall’s parking garage as part of a project on mall life.

Michael Townsend, 36, said he and seven other artists built the 750-square-foot apartment beginning in 2003 and lived there for up to three weeks at a time.

The artists built a cinderblock wall and nondescript utility door to keep the loft hidden from the outside world.

But inside, the apartment was fully furnished, down to a hutch filled with china and a Sony Playstation 2 — although a burglar broke in and stole the Playstation last spring, Townsend said.

There was no running water — instead they used the mall bathrooms.

 A man from Hartlepool found a disabled woman dying on the street. Instead of helping her like any other decent citizen, he decided to urinate on her. Whilst he did this, he shouted “This is YouTube material.” The woman has since died.

He then covered her in shaving foam after trying to awaken her with a bucket of water.

The man had smoked a cannabis joint and been drinking. The prosecution said “Although his actions did not contribute to her death it was appalling behaviour that robbed her of any dignity in the last hours of her life.”
