Bill O’Reilly Surprised: ‘No Craziness at All’ in Black Restaurant
Bill O’Reilly, after dining with Al Sharpton in Harlem’s Sylvia’s restaurant, told his radio audience he “couldn’t get over” the well-behaved black patrons. “It was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb,” he said.
“There wasn’t one person in Sylvia’s who was screaming, ‘MF-er, I want more iced tea,” O’Reilly added. Sharpton said he was surprised by O’Reilly’s reaction and will ask him about it when he appears on ‘The O’Reilly Factor’ on Wednesday.
O’Reilly’s explanation for the patrons good behavior is that black Americans are rejecting the race-oriented culture pushed by Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and are “starting to think more and more for themselves.”
